[DFO]Ultimate Diva in Anton Raid


Hello, I am Youngi.
It's been several months since the release of Anton Raid,
but I still notice that many people do not know what to do with their characters.
That's why I've started this blog, to inform people.
(Also, I was bored)
In this post, I will talk about Ultimate Diva (Female Grappler).
This post will assume that you know the raid monster's patterns.
Keep in mind that what you will read are suggestions, not answers.


1. Role in raid


Ultimate Diva, or fgrapp, can have two roles. 
One is holder, and the other is physical dps.
It is hard to be p.dps as fgrapper, unless your character is geared with epic sets,
so mostly, Ultimate Divas are going to be holders.
(Even when you are dps, you are holder at the same time)
So in this post, I will focus on talking about holding role of Ultimate Diva.

What all Ultimate Divas should keep in mind is that the hold should be stable,
and the monster should not move around.
Skills such as Wild Cannon Spike and Cyclone Attack should be used with caution.
Also, for skills like Fling and Giant Twister,
hold the monster as long as you can & do not move around (unless have to).

Ultimate Diva will go anywhere in Anton, but not naval.
If your raid leader sends diva to naval, get out, unless it's a carry party.
Diva cannot do much in naval.


2. Essential skills

Diva skills can differ a little, based on personal preferences,
but there are some essential skills that you need to have.


2.1. Grab Cannon, Sliding Grab, Chain Connection, Grappling Technique

These are the most basic skills that enables you to use other grabbing skills
in many different ways in a many different situations.
Master is not a choice, but a must.


2.2. Grab Mastery



Grab Mastery is important for two reasons.
One, it gives you skill attack damage.
And second, your party members does more damage to monsters you're holding.
This increases the whole party's damage, so master is a must.


3. Items

Most Ultimate Divas are holders,
so it is recommended to wear supporting items.
Those are, anything that increases party member's stats or Grab Mastery levels.

3.1. Weapons


Best supporting weapon is Strong Arm Spirit.
It gives Physical/Magical/Independent Attack 7% to all party members.

Other options would be items that levels up Grab Mastery,
such as Hit the Mark, or Demolishing Hand.


3.2. Sub Equipment


Items that increases party member's stats,
or items that increases Grab Mastery level is recommended.



3.3. Other equipments



Any items that can increase party member's damage,
such as Elemental Dropper pieces,
are recommended.
Lv.85 Legacy or Halidom Light Armor 4 set is used a lot,
because it gives +3 Grab Mastery.

Although all these items make the party stronger,
it is not required.
(it can increase the possibility of you getting into a raid party)
What is more important than items is whether you can hold or not.


If you are going dps, there are many good items for different settings.
If you have good epic items to mix with, Gracia 6 set can do some damage.
Otherwise, epic sets such as Dark Gothic, Eyeshield LaDainian, Tactical Lord are good.


4. Detailed know-how

4.1. Source of Black Smoke


The first named monster you encounter is Tog.


Normally, your party will be required to put in an orb.
Leave Tog alone until he absorbs the orb.
 While Tog is grabbed, he will not be able to absorb the orb.
After Tog absorbs the orb, Use Neck Snap immediately.
Then, continuously hold Tog with other skills.

The order of skills I use is as follows:


Neck Snap - Fling - Chain Connection - Cyclone Suplex - 
Air Clutch - Chain Connection - Neck Snap ... etc

(it is only an example, you can use any skills you find preferable to hold)

If you hold any named/boss monsters in Anton Raid for about 15 seconds,
the monsters will break the hold and attack you.
It is possible for Ultimate Diva to cancel that (with Air Clutch), but it requires good timing and experience,
so I recommend just taking a break, let the monster show its pattern,
and then hold again.

*You can only grab Tog when he is standing up.


The next monster is Annihilator Nerbe.


After seeing the orb, and the circle,
hit Nerbe with Neck Snap.
Then, you can use Giant Twister.
If Nerbe does not die after Giant Twister,
use Torbellino immediately after, and then use Fling to hold it further.

4.2. Shaking Battleground


Pretty much all of Ultimate Diva's skills are holding skills,
So battleground would be very easy.

When you enter the left room, you will see Doom Plagnus.



When he falls down from the sky, use Neck snap, and then Fling to hold him.

Chain Connection - Cyclone Attack ... etc

could be used to continuously hold him.

The right room's monster is Doom Taiorik.



Use Sliding Grab to approach him immediately and start the hold.
You will not have time to adjust your positions and land Neck Snap.
You can start holding with Giant Swing or Giant Twister.
use Torbellino and Fling to further hold him.

4.3. Durable Leg


Flame Krave is the first named monster.


Ultimate Diva is one of the easiest class to put in zombies into circles.
Most of Diva's skills can move zombies into the desired circles.
 Suplex, Fling, Spiral, and Cyclone Suplex are good skills to use.

When all the zombies are into places and Krave is able to be attacked,
simply use Fling (or other skills) to hold him.
He will not move around, so the only reason for holding is to boost party's damage.

Next named monster is Gatekeeper Kratek.


It is important to hold Kratek,
because once you start to see his patterns,
you have to deal with flame damage, Kratek's doppelganger, and Kratek itself.

There is an easy way for Ultimate Divas to hold Kratek.


When you enter Kratek's room, he will start casting his skills right away.
As you know, he is invulnerable most of the time, but there is a tiny window for hold.

When Kratek's casting gauge bar is at the halfway,
jump and repeatedly use Air Clutch (or Air Steiner).
Air Clutch's cooldown is reset when you don't land the skill,
so, during the duration of the jump, you can use the skill many times.

After that, use Chain Connection to get down, and quickly use Neck Snap.
Then after that, Fling and other skills can be used to hold him further.

Next is the boss, Brilliant Flame Agnes.



What you have to deal with at first are the illusions of Agnes.

Use Wild Cannon Spike to move both illusions to one side.
Then, use spiral & Giant Swings to help the party kill the illusions.

When the illusions are about to die, go up to Agnes.
When the illusions die, Agnes will cast the "eyes" onto you.
When the casting is done, there is a short chance to hold her.



When the casting is done, and the magic circle under her is gone, 
quickly use Neck Snap or Fling to hold her.
Then, Use Torbellino & Giant Twister to continue holding.

If you are unsure of the timing, 
just jump and use Air Clutch (or Air Steiner)
to hold her initially.


4.4. Cutting Off Energy




When you are running Energy, there are two jobs for you.
One, to bait Egene.
and two, to cancel the eye pattern.



Absorbent Egene is really easy,
if you know how to not get caught & avoid eye.

When you enter the boss room,
you will see that Egene has some Tartan Warriors around him.

What you will do for the bait is,
you will go to in front of Egene, turn around, 
and then use Hurricane Super Plex on Tartan Warriors.
9 out of 10 times, Egene will be baited and your party will be able to damage him.

Right after you land, use Neck Snap, Torbellino,
and Fling & hold him to cancel the eye pattern.

In 1st Hatchery, there is Lava Monster Worm.



Nothing special needs to be done in this map,
because when the worm hits the turtle,
it gets stunned and does nothing.
Just use any skills you like to damage the worm.


2nd Hatchery is Meltadorok.


Nothing special needs to be done, as well.
Just hit Neck Snap, and use any skills you like.


3rd is Grinder Atol.


You can't do anything, because Atol locks everyone up except 1p player. 
1p player will be the damage, so you can just sit and watch.
However, sometimes, Ultimate Divas are put in 1p.
In that case, simply use Giant Twisters to grab Atol,
and move him to the damage of your party.



4th Hatchery

Fearsome Spiritual Residue


Nothing special to do, as well.
Just hold it to increase other's damage.


Infected Hatchery

There will be Power Arm Kuro
And Black Fire Rok.



Use Giant Twister as soon as you enter the room.
Then, after twister is finished,
use Torbellino and Giant Swing to hold further.




4.5. Black Volcano



First named monster is Kres of Black Smoke.


He has difficult patterns, but he is easy to hold.
Just dash up to him, Neck Snap, then Giant Twister.

Next named monster is Magtonium 5.




As soon as you enter the room,
You have to go up to Magtonium 5, and use Neck Snap.
Then, use Torbellino & other skills to hold him.


 Neck Snap - Torbellino - Fling - Chain Connection - Cyclone Suplex - 
Chain Connection ... etc


Next named monster is Abyssal Medel.



Use Neck Snap, Fling, or Spiral to hold Medel initially.
Continue holding Medel with every skill you have left.




Spiral - Air Steiner - Air Clutch - Fling - Giant Swing


Boss is Omnipotent Mateka.



Easiest way to pull orb is to use
basic attack, Suplex, and Fling.
Find what is easiest to you.

When Blood (血) is put in,
After transferring the fire to Residue,
do not do anything.
Holding Residue here will end the damage time right away.


 When Ground (土) is put in,
and Meltadorok appears,
Quickly use Neck Snap to hold him.

The rest two monsters are really easy,
and nothing special needs to be done.


When you enter 2nd phase,
simply use Neck Snap and Giant Twister to hold Mateka.

5. End

That it all Ultimate Diva has to do.
